SAP QA Lead

Hybrid - Dublin, OH

Long term contract

Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication

  • Act as a bridge between business and IT (security, vendor teams), ensuring clear, consistent communication.
  • Translate technical requirements, constraints, and timelines into actionable business insights.
  • Drive alignment, accountability, and timely follow-through across distributed teams.
  • Escalate risks, blockers, and trends to leadership with clear mitigation actions.

Defect Management & Governance

  • Own end-to-end defect lifecycle management from identification through closure.
  • Run daily defect triage and status calls across multiple teams.
  • Ensure defects are logged with accurate:
  • Severity & priority
  • Root cause classification
  • Ownership & environment details
  • Enforce defect management processes, SLAs, and entry/exit criteria.
  • Monitor defect aging and ensure timely resolution and retesting.
  • Validate phase exit readiness based on defect metrics and quality thresholds.
  • Drive follow-ups for data issues, incorrect details, missing status, ownership gaps, or stalled progress
  • Drive prioritization of defects during high-volume cycles (SIT, UAT).
