About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow to join our team as a contingent resource. In this role, you will consult on complex, high-impact software engineering initiatives and contribute to strategic planning and execution. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve multifaceted technical challenges, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and consult on large-scale software engineering projects with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze complex technical challenges, including unprecedented or intangible factors, and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and technical best practices.
- Provide strategic input and technical guidance to client personnel and internal teams.
- Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow applications and integrations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military service, or education.
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including:
- APIs and integrations
- Scoped applications and scripting
- CMDB and ServiceNow Discovery
- Business rules and service request workflows
- Current ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
