Job Title: Software Engineer - ServiceNow (Contingent Resource)

Location: Charlotte, NC (also open to Irving, TX and Chandler, AZ)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow to join our team as a contingent resource. In this role, you will consult on complex, high-impact software engineering initiatives and contribute to strategic planning and execution. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve multifaceted technical challenges, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and consult on large-scale software engineering projects with broad organizational impact.
  • Analyze complex technical challenges, including unprecedented or intangible factors, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and technical best practices.
  • Provide strategic input and technical guidance to client personnel and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow applications and integrations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military service, or education.
  • 4+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including:
    • APIs and integrations
    • Scoped applications and scripting
    • CMDB and ServiceNow Discovery
    • Business rules and service request workflows
  • Current ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
