Job Details
Role: Guidewire Business Analyst - Billing Center and Policy Center
Location: Warren, NJ Onsite
Duration: 6 month+ can be extendable
Domain/Industry: Insurance Preferably

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Guidewire BillingCenter and related modules.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical delivery teams.
- Partner with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Support data validation and troubleshooting using SQL and related tools.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Contribute to integration design efforts and assist in validating API-based workflows and system interfaces.
- Ensure adherence to business processes, compliance standards, and best practices in documentation and delivery.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience with the Guidewire suite specifically BillingCenter, with working knowledge of PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes, including policy administration, billing, and claims management.
- Proven ability to create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
- Familiarity with SQL for performing data validation and supporting troubleshooting activities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinating between cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire certification in BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, or ClaimCenter.
- Experience with system integrations and API-based workflows (REST/SOAP).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to data migration, reporting, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of compliance and audit frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, or NAIC guidelines
