Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Consultant to lead complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data quality and controls, regulatory reporting, and commercial loans/credit. This role involves reviewing and analyzing multifaceted data management challenges and contributing to the resolution of complex situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, and longer-term Data Management challenges.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Lead the Data Quality Control efforts within the Commercial Banking & Lending Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (QA) Transactional Testing Program.
- Align with the Transactional Testing space, focusing on data sources and comparisons.
Team Details:
- Support the Data Quality Control team (Data Management - Data Quality - Regulatory Reporting - Data Strategy - Governance and Operations).
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Management with hands-on experience in Data Quality and Controls.
- Regulatory and Compliance experience (FRY-14 preferred).
- Expertise in transactional testing.
- Experience with commercial loans/credit.
- Audit and compliance experience.
- Proficiency in data lineage and mining.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLookups, Pivot Tables).
- Advanced SQL query writing skills.
- Strong complex data analysis, data quality, and validation skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Experience in testing or QA, requirements gathering, root cause analysis, and test script creation.
