About the Role

We are seeking a Physical Security Program Manager to oversee and enforce security policies at a high-performance data center. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and integrity of our facilities, assets, and customer programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as program manager for the physical security program at the data center site
  • Conduct security and safety audits, identify vulnerabilities, and enforce security policies
  • Manage access control for the facility, including approving and documenting visitor access
  • Oversee third-party security vendors, audit their performance, and ensure compliance with SLAs
  • Lead investigations and audits in the event of security breaches, and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver security training programs for staff and partners
  • Maintain documentation and archives of security policies
  • Liaise with internal teams and collocation partners to ensure compliance
  • Regularly inspect data centers and produce detailed reports with remediation plans

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in a physical security role (data center, classified/government sites preferred)
  • Ability to write and enforce security policies and procedures
  • Experience conducting investigations and audits related to physical security
  • Familiarity with access management systems and office tools (Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace)
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and training skills
  • Must be on-site five days a week; up to 25% travel as needed
  • U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military or law enforcement experience with site security experience
  • ASIS membership or certifications (PSP, CPP, CPTED) - support provided if not held
  • Electronic Physical Security Certifications (Genetec, Axis)
  • IT/networking experience and project management skills
  • Prior experience as a team leader or manager

  • On-site at Ellendale, ND data center
  • Interaction with internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Tools: Access management systems, Zoom, Slack, and company-specific platforms

The pay range for this position is $79000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
