Oracle Fusion Solution Architect / Chief Specialist – Fusion Solution Design

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 1 Year

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Solution Architect / Chief Specialist – Fusion Solution Design to provide technical leadership in the architecture, design, development, implementation, and quality assurance of enterprise-grade Oracle Fusion ERP solutions.

This role will define end-to-end solution strategies aligned with business objectives while ensuring scalability, performance optimization, security, and adherence to best practices across the ERP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Architecture & Solution Design

Define, develop, and implement architectural principles and governance standards for Oracle Fusion ERP systems.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions aligned with business goals.
Lead end-to-end solution architecture across ERP modules and integration platforms.
Monitor ERP technology advancements and recommend innovative solutions to leadership.
Research ERP system performance and competitive positioning; propose enhancements and modernization strategies.

Implementation & Delivery Leadership

Lead full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations (requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, hypercare).
Conduct solution prototyping and design workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
Ensure software solutions meet defined functional and non-functional performance requirements.
Identify infrastructure and ERP technology challenges and lead resolution efforts.
Drive adoption of secure development and ERP delivery best practices.

Technical Expertise & Integration

Architect and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware platforms.
Provide functional and technical expertise across multiple Oracle Fusion modules including:

Supply Planning & Demand Planning
Sales, Service & Field Service
Product Data Hub
Procurement
Order Management
Inventory Management
Manufacturing & Maintenance
Global Trade Management
Project Accounting
Accounts Payables & Receivables
General Ledger

Leverage Oracle Fusion platform components including VBCS and Redwood UX framework.
Support data migration strategies using FBDI templates.

Leadership & Governance

Provide technical consulting, mentoring, and training to IT Business Applications teams.
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between IT and business stakeholders.
Prepare executive-level presentations outlining solution features, benefits, risks, and ROI.
Document ERP configurations, system architecture, and operational processes.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives and drive adoption of quality standards (CMM, ISO).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
15+ years of experience in IT systems analysis and enterprise application lifecycle management.
10+ years designing, testing, and implementing Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion applications.
Minimum 4 full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Applications architecture including VBCS and Redwood.
Hands-on experience with OIC integrations and cloud-based ERP architectures.
Demonstrated experience in manufacturing and project-oriented environments.
Strong technical knowledge of application tiers, coding best practices, and web/application servers.
Proven project delivery and leadership experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel (up to 5%, domestic/international).

Preferred Qualifications:

Deep expertise in Discrete/Flow Manufacturing including:

Engineer-to-Order (ETO)
Make-to-Order (MTO)
Make-to-Stock (MTS)
Assemble-to-Order (ATO)

Strong understanding of BOM, Routings, Work Orders, Shop Floor Control, WIP, MRP, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, Costing, and Supply Chain Execution.
Experience with Project-Based Manufacturing and Project-Driven Supply Chain.
Knowledge of IoT, Smart Factory integrations, and Digital Twin concepts.
Experience with Oracle Fusion BI tools and analytics.
Hands-on development experience with PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, Python.
Knowledge of OCI PaaS and SaaS components.
Experience with data modeling and cloud solution architecture.
Oracle Cloud certifications (Financials Cloud, SCM Cloud, OCI, Fusion Implementation Professional).
Experience in end-user training, adoption, and change management.
