Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing design criteria, analyzing designs, determining data requirements, collecting data, and analyzing data against the requirements to support grade control on construction equipment.
The candidate will work closely with multiple engineering and validation groups to produce high quality products for the earthmoving and paving industries.
Job Duties
Design and analyze electronic component mounting solutions
Subject matter expert in FEA (finite element analysis)
Influence machine test setups and analyze resulting sensor data
Evaluate suitability of components & brackets for applications & mounting locations
Document & communicate findings
Procurement, creation, and maintenance of data analysis software tools
Balance priorities
Basic Qualifications
• 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering Experience with Matlab/other programming languages
