Job Title: Sr. AWS Developer

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid - 2 Days/Week)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Primary Skills: AWS Lambda, AWS RDS,AWS S3, AWS API Gateway, AWS Cloud Formation, SQS, SNS ,Aws Step Functions, Docker, Dynamo AWS VPC,AWS EC2, Python or Java or .Net

Job Description

  • 12+ years of professional software development experience with significant focus on AWS.
  • AWS Integration Engineer Any programming language java python good to have
  • Strong on AWS API GW Lambda SQS SNS S3 for a pub sub queue based model for integrations
  • Proven technical leadership in Agile multiteam or vendor partner delivery environments
  • Strong experience in RESTful API design and integration with knowledge of modern patterns
  • Expertise in data mapping data transformation and defining data contracts for complex API integrations
  • Experience in integrating enterprise applications with cloud native architectures in AWS
  • Experience with CICD pipelines and automated testing for integration scenarios
  • Strong skills in observability logging tracing metrics to troubleshoot distributed systems
  • Must be able to work full overlap with Pacific Time Zone
  • Experience driving integration strategy and making architectural decisions in collaboration with vendor teams
  • Knowledge of contract testing and API mocking tools ie Postman
