Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Philadelphia, PA that is seeking a Senior Project Manager.

Project Leadership:
* Manage end-to-end delivery of billing and commission workstreams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
* Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies

Agile Methodology:
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
* Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine user stories, ensuring alignment with business needs
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the project team

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
* Define and oversee UAT strategies, ensuring thorough testing of billing and commission systems
* Coordinate with business users to validate functionality, resolve defects, and ensure readiness for production
* Document and track UAT results, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards

Stakeholder Management:
* Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of billing and commission processes
* Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing insights into project performance and strategic recommendations

Risk & Issue Management:
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
* Develop contingency plans to address potential roadblocks and ensure project continuity

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
* 7+ years of project management experience, with a focus on billing, commissions, or group insurance
* Proven track record of managing projects within an Agile framework
* Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
* Strong understanding of billing and commission systems within the insurance industry
* Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
* Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success and stakeholder satisfaction

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
