Job Details

Salary: $110k - $115k /yr.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end system architecture design, configuration, and integration for engineering enterprise applications that we support.
  • This includes IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management, Cameo, DOORS Classic, Siemens CAD tools, and many more.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting digital transformation initiatives to modernize legacy tech stacks.
  • Experience in IBM Rational Synergy and Change would be immensely beneficial for this role.
  • Proficient in writing Bash or PowerShell scripts (We use daily)
  • Translate systems engineering workflows into robust application capabilities, automation, and standard work that improve SQDC outcomes (e.g., system performance metrics and process health, access control and compliance, configuration control and release, integrating testing.)
  • Own the reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of key applications, including monitoring, incident response, patching, and upgrades with minimal downtime (e.g., L2/L3 support, vulnerability remediation, platform upgrades)
  • Partner with product owners and systems engineers to define roadmaps, backlog priorities, acceptance criteria, and release plans; facilitate UAT and rollout
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce manual effort, and standardize processes across our application portfolio
  • Author and maintain technical documentation, job aids, and training; enable self-service and scalable support models
  • Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical escalation point for complex issues, guiding root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills; able to distill complex topics, influence decisions, and present clear trade-offs
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership; anticipate issues, drive resolution, and follow through without prompting
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly; ramp up fast, apply learning to deliver value, and share knowledge with the team
  • Familiar with agile software development practices, and LEAN management

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $110k - $115k /yr. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
