Job Summary: A Senior Order Manager spearheads analytical and transactional work to support the Order Management elements of WWT's Global Order Operations function. Reporting to a leader within Order Management, an individual in this role owns the successful execution and fulfillment of program specific orders, which includes driving complex issue resolution across multiple internal functional areas and direct interaction with customers on program specific insights and details. This individual also applies a continuous improvement mindset to make recommendations on process and/or system enhancements.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this job consist of transactional, analytical and strategic work to support WWT's end-to-end Order Management Supply Chain function, including but not limited to the following:
  • Owning the entire lifecycle of a WWT Order from creation to final product delivery to the customer, which includes transactional inputs. This level of order management requires deep system and supply chain knowledge, as well as the ownership of strategically troubleshooting and resolving complex order related issues
  • Owning execution and cross-functional accountability throughout WWT Supply Chain
  • Creating operational and customer-driven reporting and insights utilizing business intelligence tools to drive action
  • Taking a self-driven approach to solving problems and improving WWT's order management processes and systems
  • Applying a continuous improvement mindset to enhance current processes.
  • Taking a leadership role in direct customer interaction to provide data-driven insights and updates
  • Exhibiting a potential for management by leading others through influence and taking it upon oneself to elevate others within the team

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or supply chain related field
  • APICS Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of supply chain related experience, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine assignments
  • Ability to demonstrate a work ethic consistent with WWT's Core Values

Work Environment: This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver customer delight. The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands. Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times, and there may also be opportunities for overtime and periodic domestic/international travel (up to 10%). This role will be expected to work in an open-office environment with desk sharing/hoteling practices. Travel between our Maryland Heights, MO and Edwardsville, IL locations is common.
