Join a team that keeps America moving. MBA CSi is seeking a Junior Software Tester to support the USPS Retail Technology Programs, focusing on Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail hardware used nationwide.

You ll work hands-on testing the systems that power USPS retail counters and self-service kiosks across the country critical technology that connects millions of customers every day.

This role is ideal for early-career testers who want to develop real-world QA skills in a lab environment, collaborating closely with engineers and developers to ensure flawless software and hardware performance.

You ll be in the center of the testing process validating, analyzing, and improving technology that keeps USPS retail operations running smoothly.

  • Review requirement specifications and perform production validations prior to rollout

  • Log and track software defects in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

  • Split your time between manual testing (50%) and automated testing (50%)

  • Conduct testing in a lab environment on USPS Point of Sale (POS) and kiosk systems

  • Develop and test Change Requests, including ADD files, Test Cases, and Test Scripts

  • Execute End-to-End and Regression Testing across software, hardware, and POS devices

  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to verify system performance and reliability

  • Apply analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and strong attention to detail to meet testing goals

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 1 3 years of hands-on software testing or QA experience

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and standard testing tools

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a passion for quality assurance

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening to obtain a Public Trust clearance
