The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing large-scale network datasets, performing geospatial analytics, and leveraging SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred) to deliver actionable insights. This role requires hands-on experience in processing, visualizing, and interpreting complex telecom and geospatial data to support network optimization, performance monitoring, and business decision-making.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale telecom network and geospatial datasets (e.g., coverage, CDRs, traffic, KPIs).
  • Build and optimize SQL queries and Python-based data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
  • Apply geospatial analytics (Hexbin, clustering, geolocation, mapping) to visualize and interpret network performance across geographic regions.
  • Utilize cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.) for scalable data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with network engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to provide insights that improve network quality and customer experience.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to present findings effectively.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity through validation, anomaly detection, and reconciliation processes.
  • Support predictive and prescriptive analytics for capacity planning, coverage optimization, and performance improvement.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 37 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in the Telecom domain (MUST).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with telecom network data (KPIs, CDRs, OSS/BSS data).
  • Proficiency in geospatial analytics (GeoPandas, Shapely, Folium, Hexbin maps, GIS tools).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
  • Ability to work with large datasets (terabytes) and optimize queries for performance.
  • Strong skills in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Nice to Have

  • Experience with PySpark or distributed computing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of machine learning models for network optimization.
  • Familiarity with telecom OSS/BSS systems and KPIs.
  • Exposure to GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).
