RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to work on-site 3x week in their Hightstown, NJ office. This is a contract to hire opportunity, and we are looking for local candidates.

Summary:
The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is a senior position responsible for managing critical processes, strategies, and procedures within an organization's infrastructure and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* Develop and execute long-term strategies for the organization's infrastructure and data center operations
* Align infrastructure strategies with the overall business goals and objectives
* Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve

Process Management:
* Define, document, and optimize ITIL-compliant processes for infrastructure and data center management
* Ensure efficient incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes
* Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality

Project Leadership:
* Lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing infrastructure and data center projects
* Periodically develop project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project completion
* Make independent decisions on behalf of Supervisor and Leadership Team on project scope and ongoing troubleshooting
* Will prepare and have a strong influence on annual IT budget planning for specific projects within Infrastructure and Data Center
* Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise

Resource Management:
* Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, for infrastructure and data center projects

Risk Management:
* Identify and assess risks associated with infrastructure and data center operations
* Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize downtime and disruptions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
* ITIL certification or equivalent experience in IT service management
* Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, security and data center management
* Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux/UNIX, Active Directory, Entra ID, IAM, Networking, TCP/IP, Cloud Services - AWS and/or Azure
* Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
* Strong knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
