    Description:

    Our Client is looking for an Integration Engineer on their Integration's Platform team. The Integration Platforms Team creates value for the enterprise by delivering enterprise integration services that provide data, functionality, and processes from legacy and modern systems for others to consume. We expose diverse systems and business capabilities in a standardized way. As the Integration Engineer, you would be working with the Architects and the project team to understand the architecture for the project and build APIs per requirements. We are looking for someone that has strong experience with API Development of Apigee and has worked on different API patterns. Below are some of the other responsibilities of the Integration Engineer.
    • Develop API shared flows for common functionality.
    • Create API documentation, assist in developing user documentation, specifications, and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of APIs, Swagger, WSDL, and XSD.
    • Work with architects and business users to review, analyze, evaluate business processes, procedures, systems, and make improvements and changes.
    • Automate and set up build pipelines and deployments.
    • Manage source code version control system artifacts and CI/CD release process.
    • Conduct unit testing, provide input for feasibility, adhere to coding standards and best practices, and prepare user documentation.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    • 4+ years of experience with development of APIs / Interfaces on Apigee Edge and IBM ACE platforms.
    • Works closely with the API Solutions Architect and ACE development and support staff, as a major contributor to the success of the system.
    • Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, Drupal Developer Portal, XML, JSON, Java, Javascript, python script, XSLT and relational databases.
    • Experience with API security policies, oAuth, JWT, JWE, and HMAC; Solid grasp of API capabilities, DevOps. Experience with Containers is a plus.
    • Comfortable with working in Linux environment and scripting.
    • Knowledge of DevOps, relational databases, programming languages.
    • Familiarity with Java, SQL, JavaScript, git, Azure DevOps and XLRelease/XLDeploy preferred.
    • Requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, proven presentation skills and ability to work with both management and staff employees.
    • Ability to elicit, gather and analyze user and business requirements and act in a consultative role.
    • Attention to detail, understanding of mission-critical production support requirements, able to meet deadlines.
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
