UX/Visual Designer III

Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary: $77.00 USD Hourly - $85.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a UX/Visual Designer III

Project Overview:

• As a UX Designer on the Search Growth team, you'll leverage your creative, product, and user expertise to design features that help people get more out of Search.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Building a user-centric vision for features across many different touchpoints.
• Evolving foundational frameworks and interaction patterns to ensure cohesion and standards across Search.
• Contributing to the culture of great UX.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

• Delivering on all aspects of end-to-end UI design, from strategy to pixels.
• Translating user needs and business goals to drive design decisions.
• Collaborating closely with and influencing senior engineering, PM, data science, and marketing partners.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of interaction or product design experience where you've shipped successful digital consumer products.
• Ability to thrive in complexity and ambiguity.
• Highly collaborative attitude and work style.
• Experience designing across multiple platforms (desktop, Android, iOS).
• Successful track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong visual sense.
• Comfortable using Figma to produce wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and motion prototypes for testing.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience designing specifically with product growth in mind.
• Deep understanding of product analytics.
• Experience designing for the entire product life cycle (not just new launches).
