Job Details
- Proven experience as an HPC Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role.
- In-depth, hands-on experience with AWS Parallel Cluster.
- Expertise in Slurm or other HPC job schedulers.
- Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically using Terraform.
- Familiarity with key AWS services relevant to HPC workloads (e.g., EC2, FSx for Luster, S3, IAM).
- Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for computational systems.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to EST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience deploying and supporting bioinformatics pipelines.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like NextFlow.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Singularity.
- Experience managing software dependencies with tools like Conda or renv.
- Proficiency in data analysis scripting with Python or R.
