    Job Description:

    Job Title: Account Administrator / Data Entry.

    Location: Norwood, MA.

    Duration: Full Time.

    Basic Requirement:

    • Must have strong MS Office skills including Excel w/ pivot tables and V-looks ups, strong data entry with decent Math skills for summarizations, Pro rate calculations and currency conversions.
    • Will be using advanced email and Power Point and expected to manage customer correspondences thru read/ receipt, acknowledgement, prioritization and action items via MS Office Tools.
    • Self-Organized, with strong time management skills.
    • (Demographic: 2-5 years of experience who understands working in a professional environment There are 2 people on the team now).

    Soft skills:

    • Need a candidate who has good attention to detail, tasks they've performed to keep and record accurate, organization skills and time management, navigating through different systems pick them up quickly and effectively.
    • Hours aren't necessarily set but it's 37.5 hour a week minimum role with core hours of 9a-3p, meaning work is expected during those hours but they can start at 7a or 9a but need to work 7.5 hours a day.
    • Right now the future of work is unclear but this role will be in line with North American and regional Future of Work standards, pending training, etc. (2 days in office).
    • AFM- Account Administrator role.
    • The company specializes in commercial property insurance for the middle market.


    • As a member of the Account Team, this position is accountable for creating property insurance policy contracts and billing documents in compliance with corporate and country specific requirements.
    • This includes validating and reconciling client information necessary to prepare new accounts, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations; composing/building the policy terms and conditions; processing the financial and corporate required information and delivering outstanding service to clients and brokers in coordination with the Production Underwriters and other team members.
    • Under the supervision of a more experienced Account Administrators, acquires the knowledge and skills required to handle accounts independently
    • Composes/builds and issues new, renewal and endorsement policy documents in accordance with Production Underwriter quotes and in compliance with underwriting, processing, country and statutory requirements.
    • Enters and manages prospect/client data and financial information in various systems. Captures all limits of liability, sub-limits, deductibles, rates, and any other required information.
    • Populates the appropriate billing system through the creation and issuance of accurate invoices and/or provides billing instructions to worldwide issuing offices. Prepares Excel premium allocation spreadsheets.
    • Provides guidance and technical assistance to the Account Teams on the current processing requirements and liaises with internal offices worldwide to ensure accurate and timely service on accounts and to achieve company and operational objectives. Develops diverse knowledge of all protocols related to global products and services.
    • Responds to broker inquiries in a timely manner and/or involves other appropriate personnel where necessary.
    • Maintains organizational, contact and document distribution information for assigned accounts.
    • The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will maintain constructive and harmonious relations with all internal and external customers.


    • High school diploma, college preferred! (Paralegal experience is a good fit, but not required).
    • Minimum 2+ years' work experience in an office environment, preferably in an insurance or related work environment.
    • Attention to detail and proofreading skills.
    • Strong problem-solving capability.
    • Advanced computing skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel (pivot tables).
    • Strong math aptitude and analytical skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
