Overview:

The client is seeking an experienced Epic Reporting Program Manager to oversee Quality Incentive Pool (QIP) and Financial Reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Epic Clarity, Cogito, or Caboodle, strong SQL/Snowflake expertise, and proven experience bridging technical and business teams across quality and finance domains.

This role involves mentoring report writers, managing SDLC for data reporting, validating metric results, and ensuring compliance in state and federal reporting submissions.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Reporting (QIP Program):

  • Liaison between Clinical Quality and SQL reporting teams.
  • Manage end-to-end SDLC for Quality Metric development and validation.
  • Validate and troubleshoot QIP metric results.
  • Coordinate data flow for Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee preparation and submission of QIP reports to state agencies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Liaison between Epic BIDs and Finance teams.
  • Prioritize and manage regulatory reporting schedules and ad hoc financial requests.
  • Lead architecture of daily, monthly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Mentor report writers and analysts in Epic reporting tools.
  • Ensure adoption of Epic s best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on reporting strategy and validation.

Required Skills & Certifications

  • 8+ years of healthcare data analytics/reporting experience.
  • 3+ years as a Program Manager or Technical Lead in a healthcare data environment.
  • Strong SQL and experience with MS SQL Server and Snowflake.
  • Expertise in Epic Clarity, Cogito, or Caboodle data models.
  • Familiar with QIP, HEDIS, CMS, or similar healthcare quality metrics.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications (One or more required):

  • Epic Cogito
  • Epic Clarity Data Model
  • Epic Hospital Billing (HB)
  • Epic Professional Billing (PB)
  • Epic Revenue Data Model
  • Epic Cogito Tools Administration

Preferred:

  • Experience with Innovaccer, Cerner DSS, or eClinicalWorks (eCW).
  • Familiarity with California QIP reporting.
  • ETL, Data Governance, or Data Validation experience.
