Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Architect to lead GitHub Enterprise migration initiatives, drive Infrastructure-as-Code automation, and architect cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. This role collaborates across engineering, QA, security, and operations teams to modernize CI/CD pipelines, enforce security governance, and streamline migration efforts from legacy VCS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

< data-start="922" data-end="947">GitHub Migration</>

Execute repository, branch, and history migration from Perforce/SVN to GitHub.
Configure GitHub repositories with branch protections, access controls, and GitHub Actions.
Implement Git LFS and migration utilities (e.g., git-p4) for large/incremental repos.
Resolve migration challenges including file-size limits, Python issues, and network constraints.

Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Manage Terraform state, workspaces, and modules for scalable environments.

Architect cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Design secure, scalable network configurations (VPC, VNet, NSG, hybrid connectivity).

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CircleCI.
Implement YAML workflows for .NET and container-based deployments.

Enforce Zero-Trust security and compliance-as-code.
Leverage Azure Key Vault / cloud secret management solutions.

< data-start="2078" data-end="2113">Collaboration & Mentorship</>

Partner with development, QA, cloud, and operations teams.
Mentor junior engineers on GitHub, version control, and DevOps best practices.

Required Qualifications

5+ years DevOps experience.
2 3 years hands-on GitHub migration work.
Strong proficiency in GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Python/Shell scripting.
Working experience with cloud security and major cloud platforms.
Expertise with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks.
Experience with Git, Perforce, and SVN.
Knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security and GitHub admin controls.

Preferred Certifications

Any GitHub Certification
AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer
CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator
