Software Engineer / .NET Core / React / Sustainability

A Carbon-tracking and environmentally sustainable company is hiring a .NET Engineer to join their team of 16. This company is well-established and works with large commercial companies to track their carbon output into the world, so you will work with very large amounts of data within the infrastructure. This system allows clients to log in and view carbon usage at each client location. Since this is a smaller team you will work on both client-facing and internal apps, such as sales tools and billing systems. This role also provides the opportunity to take some project ownership, as well as, interact with business users and translate their requirements into code. This position is 50% front end and 50% backend development using C#, .NET Core, .NET 7, Rest API, Microservices, Azure Functions, SQL, CI/CD, and React. To apply, this candidate should have C#, .NET Core, Rest API, Angular/React, and SQL experience. This role is 60-70% new development on a highly collaborative team. This role requires you to live within a commutable distance to Hillcrest, San Diego so you can commute three days a week. The other two days are remote, so you must live in San Diego to apply. • 2+ years of professional .NET development Experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and/or CI/CD
• Experience with TypeScript (React/Angular)
• Cloud exposure, Azure preferred
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related degree
• Desire to learn and grow in your career
