Job Description

Inspira is looking for a capable, motivated System Administrator to take over all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our computer systems, networks, routers, and collaboration tools like O365, Microsoft Azure, cloud phone systems, Video Wall, ticketing system, Network administration, FortiGate firewall, Video and Telephone conferencing system and more. As the only infrastructure staff member on our team, you ll wear lots of hats and gain plenty of valuable experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

The System Administrator is responsible for monitoring network and server metrics and file systems such as disk usage, latency, DNS, and more.
They manage the administration of all major servers and computer applications. A system administrator is tasked with assigning user roles and managing the IT aspects of the company in a secure way by Installing and configuring software and hardware.
The System Administrator is responsible for the installation and upgradation of various computer applications and software. They manage various operating systems such as Windows, Mac, or Linux along with computer hardware to keep everything up to date.
To ensure the seamless functioning of IT services, the system administrator performs regular testing and security monitoring. They identify potential errors and issues to avoid outages and ensure that the peripheral systems are technically sound In Windows and MAC
One of the key responsibilities of a system administrator is to devise policies and put plans in place to reduce redundancies and IT incidents. In case of an error, they notify the connected computers by issuing alerts and managing system access within the organization.
The System Administrator oversees managing tools, user permissions, passwords, and data organization. By designing best practices and keeping the other employees informed of security features, they ensure secure access to files and keep systems protected from external threats.

Requirements

5+ years experience in system administration
Associate or higher degree in a related field
Communicate effectively with others both on a technical level and on a business level.
Extensive experience with System and Network administrator
Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
Basic understanding of the Cyber security domain
Able to resolve user level troubleshooting issues.
Willing to work with any implementation support.
Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis.
Should be able to handle experiences on windows, Linux, mac, iOS, and Android.
