Job Description
Join this growing healthcare network bringing back the control of healthcare decisions back to the patients and physicians. Work closely with other departments to define and analyze system problems and design testing standards for multi-platform solutions. You will be responsible for the full SDLC by designing, developing, and installing software solutions making sure each project is completed with quality, professionalism, and on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and document business requirements and processes and construct conceptual data and process models to communicate ideas.
- Gather requirements and provide accurate and realistic project milestones and timelines for completion
- Design and build applications for iOS and/or Android platforms
- Collaborate with team to suggest new features and expansions of existing apps to improve performance and usability define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Document and create system specifications from user requirements
BACKGROUND
- Experience with either React Native or Xamarin or both
- C# for the backend
- At least 1 application published to the one of the App Stores; Displays familiarity with the process
Android Preferences:
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Comfortable with Git and source control
IOS Preferences:
- Proficient with Swift and Objective-C (knowledge and hands on), and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with Design Patterns such as MVC, Singleton, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with 3rd Party API integrations such as Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, Google Drive, Bluetooth, Keychain, etc.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related fields
