Position Description:

Sr. Product Security Engineer for Medtronic, Inc located in Mounds View, MN. Responsible for creating, deploying, and monitoring cybersecurity and information security solutions for Medtronic's medical devices and supporting IT infrastructure. Interact with external and internal cybersecurity researchers to identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Medtronic products and systems. Work directly with R&D teams to ensure all relevant security risks are identified and evaluated, and appropriate and well-balanced solutions are implemented. Develop project security deliverables for regulatory bodies to comply with standards & guidance documents. Leverage IoT security, information assurance including RF and wireless communication systems. Leverage Cryptography, PKI and Key Mgmt. Understand principal around Data protection architectures for data at rest and in transit. Responsible for Wireless communication security, Enterprise and local network infrastructure security. Coordinate Large-scale application architecture and security. Responsible for Mobile device application, Cloud systems architecture and security. Utilize CVSS and STRIDE. Navigate the complexity of national and international laws, regulations, and policies related to device cybersecurity and privacy. Leverage various OS systems-level within the following applications Linux, Windows, Android and iOS. Understand Networking ports & protocols including firewalls, load balancers and IPS. Penetration testing using Metasploit. Risk Assessment and mitigation advisory. Leverage knowledge from being CEH Certified. Relocation assistance is not provided. #LI-DNI

Basic Qualifications:

Masters' Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field and two (2) years of experience as a product or cyber security engineer or related occupation in cyber security engineering OR Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering field and five (5) years of experience as a product or cyber security engineer or related occupation in cyber security engineering.

Must possess at least two (2) years' experience with each of the following: Cryptography, PKI, Key Management; Data protection architectures for data at rest and in transit; Wireless communication security, Enterprise and local network infrastructure security; Mobile device application, Cloud systems architecture and security; CVSS and STRIDE; National and international laws, regulations, and policies related to device cybersecurity and privacy; OS systems-level experience within one or more of the following: Linux, Windows, Android and/or iOS; Networking ports & protocols including firewalls, load balancers and IPS; Penetration testing using Metasploit; and Risk Assessment and mitigation advisory. The following certification is required: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $146,000 to $184,800 per year
