Job Details

As a Senior Marketing Cloud Developer, you will take a leadership role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing complex marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized customer experiences, leveraging advanced technical skills to create scalable solutions that drive business impact.

This role requires a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic marketing goals, with an emphasis on hands-on development, innovation, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement sophisticated solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including dynamic content, advanced automation, and multi-channel journeys.
  • Develop and deploy custom solutions using AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Lead the design and development of advanced segmentation models, data integration workflows, and real-time personalization.
  • Define and execute strategies for managing large data volumes within Marketing Cloud, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
  • Develop robust ETL workflows, integrating external data sources using Marketing Cloud Connect, API integrations, or custom middleware solutions.
  • Perform in-depth data validation and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to refine email, SMS, and push notification performance.
  • Build advanced reporting dashboards leveraging Datorama, Einstein Analytics, or custom data visualization tools.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
  • Work closely with marketing strategists, CRM administrators, and development teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Marketing Cloud-related projects and initiatives.

Technical Expertise:

  • 6+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
  • Advanced skills in AMP script, SSJS, HTML/CSS, SQL, and JSON.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud APIs (REST/SOAP) and third-party integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, data architecture, and ETL processes.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
  • Ability to design scalable, high-performance marketing solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-focused approach.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Experience:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Developer, Consultant).
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Einstein (e.g., Send Time Optimization, Engagement Scoring).
  • Knowledge of additional Salesforce tools like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Datorama.
  • Familiarity with email and digital marketing compliance.
