Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Flywheel Effect: Define and execute a cohesive technology strategy that seamlessly connects modernization, optimization, and innovation to drive exponential enterprise growth and transformation.
  • AI & Agentic Tech Leadership: Champion the adoption of next-generation AI and Agentic technologies. Think differently about how these capabilities can fundamentally rewire our operations and create competitive advantages.
  • Enterprise & Solution Architecture: Lead, mentor, and evolve the enterprise and solution architecture disciplines. Establish robust, scalable, and secure architectural frameworks that support long-term business objectives.
  • Disruptive "Build vs. Buy" Thinking: Challenge the status quo on technology investments. Bring a fresh, pragmatic perspective to build/buy/partner decisions, ensuring maximum ROI, agility, and speed to market.
  • Cross-Stakeholder Scaling: Scale platforms and capabilities in a meaningful way across diverse stakeholder groups. Bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and business outcomes, ensuring alignment from the engineering floor to the C-suite.
  • Best-in-Class Platforms: Establish a technology platform that leverages data and insights to drive intelligent, real-time decision-making.
  • Connected Ecosystem: Architect a highly connected, interoperable ecosystem integrating both internal systems and external partners.
  • Security & Trust: Build security and trust as foundational pillars of the architecture, ensuring resilient and compliant operations.
  • Landscape Blueprinting: Champion the creation of a comprehensive blueprint mapping our technology, product, and capability landscape through platforms like LeanIX, ServiceNow, Apptio, or similar tools. Use this to understand dependencies, manage costs, identify opportunities for rationalization, and enable seamless business continuity planning.
  • Governance & Strategy Realization: Establish robust governance mechanisms to monitor adherence to enterprise guidance and architectural frameworks. Define and track strategy realization metrics to ensure sustained focus and alignment across the organization.
  • Change Leadership: Serve as an evangelist for continuous improvement and technological courage. Inspire teams to embrace change and foster a culture of resilience, curiosity, and high performance.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Education and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred, related experience to be considered.
  • Extensive Leadership Experience: 15+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record as a VP or SVP leading technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and solution architecture at scale.
  • AI & Emerging Tech Expertise: Deep, practical understanding of AI, machine learning, Agentic workflows, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Transformation Champion: Demonstrated success in driving large-scale digital transformations and creating tangible "speed to value" outcomes.
  • Strategic Disruption: Experience upending traditional IT models, specifically around re-evaluating build vs. buy decisions and optimizing vendor/partner ecosystems.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Ability to translate highly complex technical strategies into compelling business narratives for executive stakeholders and board members.
  • Builder of Teams: A passionate leader who knows how to attract, develop, and retain top-tier architectural and engineering talent.
  • External Perspective Translation: Deep passion and understanding of external perspectives from top-tier consulting and research organizations, with proven experience translating those insights into actionable transformation roadmaps within enterprise environments.

The Salary Range for the role is $200,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year.
