Job Summary The SAP EWM Solution Architect is responsible for leading the design and architecture of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions across pilot and rollout phases. This role plays a key part in enabling scalable, efficient, and integrated warehouse operations that align with business objectives and technical standards. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture Define and validate SAP EWM architecture, including integration with ECC 6 EHP7 and MES systems. Architect RF-enabled processes for receiving, putaway, internal movements, and shipping. Ensure bin-level tracking of serialized units (FG, WIP) and support mobile RF infrastructure readiness. Integration & Technical Oversight Collaborate with EWM Technical Architects and Automation/Integration Consultants for seamless system connectivity. Oversee MES integration and maintain continuity with existing yard management systems. Guide ABAP consultants on custom developments and system enhancements. Project Enablement & Governance Support stakeholder alignment and project governance setup. Ensure master and transactional data readiness for migration. Contribute to training and enablement for warehouse leads and end-users. Implementation Support Provide architectural leadership during pilot implementations (e.g., Bath, NY) and rollouts (e.g., Green Bay, WI; Roaring River, NC). Validate infrastructure prerequisites including Wi-Fi, offline sync capabilities, and mobile RF devices. Ensure inventory load, label readiness, and role assignments are finalized before go-live. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Solution Architect in SAP EWM implementations. Strong understanding of ECC 6 EHP7 architecture and EWM functional flows. Experience with RF technologies, MES integration, and warehouse automation. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver projects within timelines and budgets. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with yard management systems and mobile RF infrastructure. Familiarity with ABAP development and SAP customization. Exposure to large-scale warehouse automation and integration projects. Education: Bachelors Degree
