Position Title: Lead ServiceNow Solution Architect
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Miamisburg, OH, Philadelphia, PA, Jacksonville, FL, and Rock Mount, NC
Ability to work remote: Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 remote
RTO in 2026 will be 5 days in the office.
Acceptable time zone(s): EST CST, MT
Days of the week: Mon Fri, 40 hours
Working Hours (Flexible): 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST
OT: No -Occasional o/t will be required in support of releases
Duration: Contract to hire
Job Summary:
We are seeking a senior ServiceNow Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities across the enterprise.
This role will architect scalable solutions for Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB governance, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and ServiceNow s Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
The architect will partner with platform teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted configuration data, enable automation, and improve operational resilience
Key Responsibilities:
ITOM & CMDB Architecture: Define and maintain CMDB data models, CI classes, and relationships aligned with CSDM and ITIL standards.
Service Mapping & Discovery: Lead implementation of Service Mapping strategies and configure Discovery schedules, probes, and sensors.
Integration & Automation: Design integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
Governance & Compliance: Define data ownership and stewardship models, enforce ACLs and security policies for CMDB and ITOM modules.
Technical Leadership: Act as Design Authority, producing architecture diagrams, standards, and reusable templates; mentor developers and administrators
Required Qualifications:
10+ years in enterprise architecture or platform engineering, with 5+ years in ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB implementations.
Expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB governance.
Strong integration skills with APIs and experience in scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python).
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and CSDM alignment
Preferred Certifications:
ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator).
CIS ITOM, CMDB, Discovery.
CAD (Certified Application Developer); ITIL v4 Foundation.
