    Position: Business Development Executive (BDE), High-Tech

    Job Location: San Francisco and Dallas TX

    Role Summary:

    The High-Tech Business Development Executive (BDE) is accountable for hunting net-new sales for Wipro in our High-Tech sector. This role is to build new relationships, seed new projects that lead to larger, long-term services relationships and build bold value propositions relevant to C-Suite executives resulting in a large deal. The BDE will have Hi-Tech industry experience and network of clients that allow leverage to open new relationships for Wipro. This person will be focused on a targeted set of clients identified by the Strategic Market Unit. The primary focus of the BDE is to open new priority accounts that can generate $100m +, and align on C-Suite transformation initiatives to grow high value/high volume business. The BDE is focused on origination as much as closing and is expected to produce $10-20m annually in revenues.

    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Builds CXO connects - Nurtures the client over a period of time.
    • Understands client problems, offers a solution to deliver business impact by bring the 'best of Wipro'.
    • Focused on hunting high-quality large accounts (e.g., F1000).
    • Growth oriented - Focused on winning logos with long-term potential (e.g., large deals)
    • Leverage alliances (cloud, digital etc) and external partnerships to identify different areas where joint proposition/ solution can be delivered to a customer
    • Identify key decision makers in client organization and industry to develop and strengthen relationships with them and become a trusted advisor for them
    • Leadership- Can set a vision for growth of targeted accounts, mobilize teams across Wipro to pursue key opportunities and can lead the team(s) to close significant deals for Wipro.
    • Origination and Close

    Preferred Requirements:
    • Proven business development experience (hunting new accounts, identify, penetrate, grow, and scale) to fortune 500 High-Tech clients.
    • Experience selling broad suite of I/T Services with strong understanding of technology and vertical platforms in order to strategize & craft solutions (along with pre sales teams) to match customer needs
    • 15+ years' overall progressive experience with a Tier 1 company servicing the High-Tech space.
    • Experience with global delivery models and matrixed environments
    • Ability to build rapport and connect at the C-Suite to originate very large opportunities and mobilize clients and relationships, while leading teams to win significant business and large-deals for Wipro.
    • Excellent communication skills to be able to communication effectively with CXO leaders.
    • Track record of enhancing business from existing accounts achieving consistent contribution and collection norms
