Human Resources Manager (On-site from Day One)
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven work experience as a HR Manager.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
* Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, power point, teams, outlook etc.).
* Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, talent management or similar systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Ensures legal compliance throughout human resources management and all company HR policies are applied consistently.
* Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
* Works closely with employees and provides necessary information, resolves issues.
* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
* Prepares, reviews and updates policies and practices documents and maintains compliance. Keeps employee handbook updated.
* Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
* Reviews and coordinates special requests such as reasonable accommodation, FMLA etc.
* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources and employment law.
* Addresses specific issues related to health insurances with Insurance company/ broker.
* Reviews and/or audits, new hire documents, health insurance enrollments, insurance invoices, COBRA enrollments & payments, premium tables etc.
* Analyzes and recommends renewal health insurance policies.
* Prepares reports such as employee census, enrollment data, 401(k) enrollment, employee demographics as needed.
* Prepares and sends mandatory or informative notices (e.g., enrollment notices, annual notices etc.) to the employees.
* Evaluates and processes, UI claims, Worker s Compensation claims, Wage Garnishment Orders, Employment Verifications requests.
* Works closely with Senior Managers and assists, helps and/or completes any other task/s, special projects as assigned.

Travel: Position will require travel to Tallahassee, FL, and other locations within Florida on an as needed basis.
Education:
* Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
* A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
* PHR, SHPR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.
* Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
