ETL developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strong ETL Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data integration, performance tuning, and the ability to write and manage complex packages and stored procedures. Exposure to cloud platforms is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize robust ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools.
• Write and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes for performance and scalability.
• Handle large datasets and develop efficient data transformation logic.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy of data flows.
• Support production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Informatica ETL development.
• Mandatory experience with Oracle PL/SQL complex query writing, performance tuning.
• Expertise in writing and debugging complex PL/SQL packages and stored procedures.
• Good understanding of indexes, partitioning, and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
