Job Description
You will be a Documentation Engineer, Sr for the SOF GLSS team. Our team is responsible for rapidly equipping the SOF community with the best possible systems and equipment, modifying and integrating components into various military platforms to support US service members worldwide.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Documentation Engineer, Sr, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering team's tools, processes, reporting, and metrics, ensuring seamless execution of modifications on military platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining engineering reports and metrics to provide project status and actuals
Collaborating with engineering leads to ensure up-to-date project metrics and reports
Managing engineering tools, processes, and databases, including serving as Teamcenter administrator
Maintaining the engineering team's Sharepoint site and creating workflows to support existing and new processes
Supporting IT department with software releases, module testing, and data migrations as required

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent
- Database analytics and development
- Script/Code writing (primarily VBA)
- PLM Systems: Teamcenter
- Reporting Systems: MS Access, Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics
- Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Projects
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- Security Plus certification (obtain within 6 months of hire)
Desired skills
- Familiarity with engineering tools and processes
- Knowledge of CATIA v5, Solidworks, Creo, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ASME, SAE, and military specifications
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing (3D printers)
- Familiarity with DoD IT systems
- Knowledge of cloud based computing and virtual systems
- Familiarity with Large Language Models and their use cases

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
