Job Description
As the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance/Unmanned Aircraft System (ISR/UAS) Systems Engineering (SE) Software (SW) Configuration Management (CM) Engineer for this ADP Program, you will be responsible for knowing how to implement and utilize disciplined and technical configuration management processes to establish and maintain the consistency of a product's software throughout its lifecycle. You are a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SW CM, prepared to stand up the infrastructure for SW CM to baseline and ensure traceability of a product's software. You think creatively and individually to solve complex problems. You actively seek out diverse sources of information, ensuring you have a comprehensive understanding of issues and impacts as it relates to SW CM.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop, improve, and maintain the infrastructure of a SW CM through developmental, production, sustainment lifecycles
Track and maintain repository/database of all program software
Collaborating, writing, and maintaining program Software CM processes
Tracking installed hardware/software
Manage and control software configuration changes
Assign unique identifiers to software
Support routine engineering reviews and configuration audits
Review changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
Ensure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and markings
Track, build, and disseminate software releases and supporting documentation to the program and customers
Reviewing changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
Develop technical reports, plans, and procedures, managing project cost/schedule, overseeing Control Account Management, and supporting proposal activities as it relates to SW CM
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Information Technology, Data or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years or more years of professional experience.
Experience in Software Configuration Management in an environment of rigorous hardware/software baseline configuration techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Desired skills
Experience analyzing hardware and software systems
Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies
Experience in engineering tools Artifactory, JIRA, Confluence
Familiar with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems like Teamcenter
Cost Account Management (CAM) Certification or willingness to become certified
Focused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
Resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of configuration status accounting and product release process

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience with reading and understanding DoD Contracts

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
