Senior BI Developer (ODI/OBIEE)

Overview: 

International Logic Systems, Inc. (ILS) is a government contractor located in the Washington, D.C. area. ILS provides integrated services and flexible solutions to federal agencies and private institutions. ILS is looking for a dedicated Senior BI Developer to support a large-scale banking/financial project.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Business Intelligence solutions, including reporting, dashboarding, and templates for self-service using OAS/OBIEE.

• Installs and configures Oracle DW (OBIEE, ODI, OAS) tools, and periodic quarterly patch application as required. 

• Develops the semantic layers for the BI tools utilized by the organization.

• Creates reports, dashboards, and templates

• May assist in the design of databases and data warehouse to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.

• Assists in proactive monitoring of OAS environment. 

• Delivers end-user training and support

• Implements and administrates security model

• Participates in the project planning process as a team member and share knowledge across the team.

• Willing to learn new functionalities and different approaches.

• Creates and modify ODI mapping to refresh data from different source systems to data warehouse.

• Must have a strong understanding of Data-warehouse concepts.

• Must be strong in PL/SQL

• Must have strong ODI and OBIEE experience; OAS is a plus

Qualifications: 

Must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in OBIEE reporting and administration on OBIEE or OAS (Oracle Analytic Services), Linux Operating System, and ODI; Strong PL/SQL.

Optional: MS Power BI administration including Power BI admin and Power BI Publishing/scheduling.
