Citrix Engineer (Virtualization & EUC Specialist)

Overview:
We are looking for a Citrix Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operations of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments. The role focuses on optimizing virtual desktop delivery, application publishing, and end-user performance in hybrid or on-prem infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to session performance, profiles, and connectivity.

  • Coordinate with infrastructure and networking teams for load balancing and resource optimization.

  • Maintain images and golden templates for application delivery.

  • Monitor environment health using Citrix Director and Studio.

  • Document configurations and maintain operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4 6 years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops (CVAD) administration.

  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, FSLogix profiles, and Citrix policies.

  • Experience with Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and licensing.

  • Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V hosting environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred:

  • Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher.

  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix Cloud integration.
