Ex - Employees from BOA, UBS, Wells Fargo, or Any Banking client for 3+ years.

10+ years of experience and should be local to New Jersey.

<>Job Summary</>

We are seeking an experienced Jasper Developer with a strong background in reporting platforms, data integration, and enterprise-level report development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JasperReports, Jaspersoft Studio, Java, and SQL, coupled with the ability to work in fast-paced financial/Banking environments.

This role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting reporting solutions used across business units

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement JasperReports/Jaspersoft dashboards & reports using Jasper Studio.
Develop custom data models, templates, sub-reports, and reusable report components.
Integrate Jasper with REST/SOAP APIs, Java applications, Spring Boot, and database systems.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting logic.
Optimize complex queries, improve performance, and ensure accuracy of data outputs.
Maintain and enhance existing reporting solutions and troubleshoot production issues.
Perform unit testing, automation, and documentation of reporting components.
Deploy reporting solutions across environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Application Development, and Business/Compliance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8 12+ years of professional experience in report development, with at least 5+ years hands-on experience in JasperReports/Jaspersoft.
Strong experience with:
- Jasper Studio & Jasper Server
- JRXML templates design
- Data adapters and domain design
Proficiency in Java/J2EE development for customizations and automation.
Strong SQL experience with databases such as:
- Oracle
- PostgreSQL
- SQL Server
Experience working with ETL pipelines, data models, schemas, and large datasets.
Experience in Version Control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Trading systems.
Exposure to AWS, Snowflake, or cloud migration reporting is a plus.
Knowledge of reporting alternatives such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, Power BI, or BIRT.
Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, JIRA, Confluence).

Soft Skills

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams.

Education

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
