Title: Business System Analyst - Workday
Location: Sylmar, California 100% Onsite


Ekman Associates is a management consulting firm that specializes in developing business, digital, and technology strategy, delivering solutions, and addressing human resource demands.

Summary:
We are seeking for a Workday Business System Analyst that has experience supporting Payroll, Benefits and HR Team in that order of priority. The candidate would have experience configuring Workday based on gathered requirements, would manage periodic updates, have good knowledge and experience in Integrations (EIB, Cloudconnect) and Role based security setup among other things.


Responsibilities:
  • Performs system configurations of the Workday Human Capital Management System, including core tables, eligibility rule, business processes, workflows, notifications, calculated fields, and plan setup.
  • Supports day to day operations, maintenance, and functionality of the Workday HCM system including security setup and update management.
  • Researches and provides options to customers to solve technical problems.
  • Responds to and resolves intermediate questions.
  • Documents processes with business teams.
  • Reviews and improves application compliance processes with compliance team.
  • Plans project tasks for specific process areas.
  • Recommends remediation of solution conditions.
  • Reviews reporting and recommends change using advanced tools.
  • Makes recommendations and partners with business to determine selected solution.
  • Implements chosen solutions to business in a customer service, consultative methodology.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two+ or more years of experience with Workday Human Capital Management Systems supporting the functional areas of Payroll, HR and Benefits.
  • Experience in technology related positions providing customer service, needs analysis and solutions to customer challenges.
  • Skilled at listening, customer service, written and verbal communication and compliance with rules and regulations
  • Understanding of scripting languages and API interfaces
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Tools and or Microsoft 365
  • Possesses a problem-solving mindset, demonstrated customer services focus and understanding of systems and processes
