Job Description
NBCUniversal's Operations & Technology (O&T) group is a shared services organization that provides the company with a broad portfolio of services and capabilities including media and studio operations, international operations, real estate, infrastructure, security and technology. The O&T team provides global support to NBCUniversal with a 2000+ strong workforce and is critical to the growth and success of the company.
NBCUniversal's Data & Legal Solutions (DLS) team operates as a central program operations group embedded across Ad Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Research, Technology, Legal, and HR as trusted partners working together to implement strategic programs throughout the enterprise.
About the Role:
The Engagement Manager is expected to be an Information Governance Specialist, with deep expertise in Document & Records Management, Policy Management, Knowledge Management, and Legal Intake. This role is crucial in supporting stakeholders from various Legal and Compliance Functions, including Legal Operations, Litigation, Compliance, Employment & Labor Law, Rights IP, and Legal Affairs. The Engagement Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, product and architecture teams to ensure the timely delivery of assigned projects. This involves building strong relationships and effective communication channels to meet project deadlines and objectives.
The Engagement Manager will also be responsible for managing relationships with SaaS vendors, ensuring that their services align with NBCU needs and standards. This role also includes working with internal teams such as NBCU Cyber Security, Business Continuity and Privacy to ensure that all projects comply with relevant policies, regulations and best practices. The Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role within the DLS team.
The legal technology marketplace is going through significant change, and this candidate is expected to maintain a pulse on industry and technology trends to deliver tool adoption, improved user experience, simplified architecture, while ensuring a compliant and secure technology solution.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of iManage System Administration experience (certificate preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of corporate or law firm document and records management experience
- Experience in working with Legal & Compliance technologies as a system administrator
- Expertise in translating business needs into clear technical requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and strong formal presentation abilities
- Possess strong technical skills to manage and solve complex technical issues
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Product Management from an accredited institution or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear written & verbal communication
- Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
- Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills
- Familiarity and comfort in working with Cyber Security, Business Continuity and Privacy teams
- Adherence & collaboration with NBCUniversal project methodologies and change control processes
- Willingness to work off business hours as needed in a demanding environment
