seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Microsoft Azure Architect with heavy experience in CI/CD, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Terraform, Azure Functions, and Azure PaaS services to join our team and ensure the resiliency, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

Summary:
The Senior Microsoft Azure Architect will lead the design, implementation, and management of the cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation frameworks. This role owns the -Ops- side of CI/CD to enable seamless, secure, and repeatable deployments for our application development teams. The Architect will establish infrastructure-as-code practices, deploy and operationalize enterprise backup and recovery solutions, and deliver performance Duties:

* Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
* Ensure production environment can be consistently redeployed via Terraform with proper version control and documentation
* Architect resilient solutions leveraging Azure PaaS services including SQL Managed Instance, Function Apps, Azure Data Lake, Entra ID Domain Services, and Azure Files
* Develop high-availability and disaster recovery strategies aligned with business continuity objectives
* Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate application deployments
* Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture and Business Intelligence teams to ensure infrastructure, configuration, and deployment pipelines are streamlined and reliable
* Own the operations (Ops) layer of the DevOps model to ensure monitoring, alerting, rollback, and scaling processes are robust and well-documented
* Build and maintain performance and cost management dashboards using native Azure tools (Azure Monitor, Cost Management, Log Analytics, Power BI)
* Complete the configuration of Commvault and build the recovery playbook to support a successful recovery

REQUIRED SKILLS
MUST HAVE: Terraform experience
MUST HAVE: azure data lake storage knowledge
Microsoft identity experience
Azure files & domain services for a specific team
Nice to have- use Palo Alto virtual machine to secure - non Microsoft firewall options
Need to have decent level O365 admin experience -

Primary Skills
* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master s preferred)
* Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) highly desirable
* Demonstrated experience managing Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure in a leadership capacity
* Deep knowledge of Azure PaaS components including SQL MI, Function Apps, Azure Data Lake, Entra ID Domain Services, and Azure Files
* Strong experience with IaC, MFA, SSO, IAM, and DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
* Solid understanding of networking, identity, and security within Azure environments
* Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting preferred
* Familiarity with Azure Policy and Blueprints for enforcing organization-specific requirements for compliance and governance
