Job Details

Successful candidates will possess significant experience and skills in the analysis, design, and development of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technology solutions operated as a shared service utilized by Information Systems within the enterprise. Specifically, candidates will have demonstrable skills in architecting, configuring, building, deploying, and supporting an IAM solution utilizing Open Access Management (OpenAM), ForgeRock OpenAM, or similar IAM products/solutions. A deep understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available. The candidate will work directly with senior-level systems and software engineers and architects to design and implement solutions in a large complex worldwide enterprise.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands on Java/JavaScript development experience.
  • 7+ years total experience supporting enterprise-class applications in a significant engineering or development role.
  • 3+ experience in identity and access management leveraging OpenAM, ForgeRock, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar suite of products.
  • Advanced knowledge of LDAP, directory services, application servers and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with standard authentication protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
  • Experience with web services and APIs (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience integrating and deploying IAM solutions with web-based applications to provide authentication and authorization.
  • Experience designing and implementation of IAM solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.

Typical Duties/Abilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using the ForgeRock product suite (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG).
  • Configure and customize ForgeRock components to meet the specific needs of the organization.
  • Integrate ForgeRock solutions with various applications and systems, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization processes.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts and connectors for ForgeRock products.
  • Ensuring solutions meet maintainability, reliability, sustainability, capacity, and security requirements.
  • Supporting the Program Management Offices (PMOs) and/or users to address their requests, questions, and concerns.

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership
  • Communication skills key! Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bring about consensus.

Education/Certifications:

  • BS degree in Information Technology or another related technical discipline.
  • Certification(s) in ForgeRock product suite (Desired).
