  • The Delivery Lead is responsible for:

    • Managing scope, budget, schedule, and quality for all assigned activities
    • Coordinating activities between IT, Business Stakeholders, business-case Project Managers, and managed service leadership
    • Understanding the structure, policies, and procedures of the organization (S3 and customer)
    • Working with team members and within architectural direction to recommend pathways and solutions that help meet customer requirements


The following responsibilities are within the scope of this effort:


  • Manage all aspects of implementation as it relates to technical delivery including resources, plan, schedule, budget reporting.
  • Partner with business, technology and MEP (if applicable) to drive solutions from planning to deployment.
  • Facilitate the team providing hands on management of development, support, and troubleshooting activities for enterprise applications as needed.
  • Manage all internal and external technical resources as required.
  • Plan and implement products, including assembly of all standard project artifacts and associated materials such as documentation, release notes, installation, quality and usage.
  • Lead the delivery of projects across the Enterprise working with projects sponsors, process owners, business relationship manager and MEP to develop, deliver and productionize applications as required.
  • Manage daily huddles and regular meetings. The project team huddle and status is owned by the Delivery Lead (invite, agenda, participants and facilitation.) The Delivery Lead is responsible for maintaining/tracking the progression of work (e.g. schedule, task list, risk, action, etc.) The Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring all action items are captured and followed up on and closed. The DL is expected to escalate as necessary when they identify an issue/risk and are unable to resolve within context of huddle or if it has material impact on schedule, budget, etc.
  • Project stakeholder communication is the responsibility of the DL providing Status to all stakeholders. It is necessary that the DL keep the project sponsor and BRM manager informed with timely and regular communication. The minimum expectations are the project status report and a regular stakeholder meeting. The communications should provide how key activities are tracking (e.g. schedule, budget, etc.) and early awareness of any issues or risks that will change project status (red or yellow) and opportunity to provide input/approve return-to-green plans (e.g. approve OT, add resources, etc.)
  • Support Architects in meeting coverage; design slams and technical discussions.
  • Recommend, initiate and manage process changes to make the team more efficient.
  • Represent project at TRAC registration, interim review and pre-production sessions.
  • Provide overall leadership and direct teams in the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Manage business requirements and scope on a technical level, and coordinate between cross-functional teams to ensure product adherence to business requirements and architectural direction.
  • Partner with Project Management team on scheduling, resource capacity and resource availability.
  • Timesheet submission, review and approval.
  • Review and monitor project budgets and spend: support managers in budget reviews.
  • Collaborate with project team members and management to avoid and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure documentation repository is appropriately maintained, standards and SLA s are met.
  • Ensure team adheres to all internal documentation, processes, time tracking, PET, etc.
  • Interview candidates and select technical resources.
