After nearly a decade in business, one of the top healthcare staffing companies in the industry realized something others missed. The company places doctors, nurses, machine technicians, and other healthcare positions but when they looked at their own Application Tracking System and Vendor Management System (VMS), they found outdated technology and not specific to healthcare.

If hired, you would be joining a software product division as one of their foundational hires for a brand new QA automation team. If hired you will get be on the ground floor of a team building an automation framework from scratch and pushing a new QA-first mindset across the company.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software development and/or QA automation
  • Some experience designing new test cases and test plans
  • Familiarity with C#, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript for automation scripting
  • Playwright (most preferred), Cypress.IO, Katalon, Test Cafe, Selenium Webdriver, or similar
  • Understanding of 3-tier architecture and basic API fundamentals
  • Relational database experience (SQL)
  • Git and Jira
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines - Azure DevOps
  • Ability to collaborate & communicate with the development teams
Desired Skills & Experience
  • API testing and automation with Postman or similar tool
  • Shift Left
  • Familiar with .NET/C# - environment worked in or used for development
  • xUnit for unit testing
  • Jest
  • Specflow for BDD
  • Experience with SaaS products
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
What You Will Be Doing
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to develop new detailed, comprehensive, and structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Identify root causes of software issues and communicate effectively back to development teams
