Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The Electrical Engineer will perform as an integral member of the on-site Engineering Support Group (ESG) team with responsibility to support the development of F-16 Organic Modification programs for the United States Air Force and to update the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Engineering databases and drawings.

The selected candidate will be required to be in the office (on-site) in accordance with a set team schedule to coordinate with the rest of the team. Teleworking is acceptable when not in the office.

Responsibilities included:

Responsible for researching harness and MIDAS engineering for the electrical impacts to F-16 aircraft using Lockheed Martin's engineering databases (Joint Electrical Design Installation (JEDI), ACE Database (SAP - Business Objects), Asset Design Management System (ADMS), Parts Warehouse, Parts Classification & Management System (PCM), etc.) to determine aircraft effectivity and current engineering configuration for applicable aircraft and MIDAS diagrams.

Responsible for researching and generating harness Electrical Source Data (ESD) including Wire List (WL), Parts List (PL) and Reference Designator List (RDL) change information.

Responsible for researching and generating MIDAS Electrical Source Data (ESD) including Map, Wiring, Block and Schematic diagram redline information using CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD) Graphics.

Responsible for creating Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using Asset Design Management System (ADMS) and engineering change graphics using CATIA V5 and CCD Graphics.

Limited domestic travel in support of F-16 aircraft Operational Use Evaluation (OUE), Trial Verification Installation (TVI) and Kit Proof (KP) events which typically last for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years related experience; will accept a minimum of 7 years of related professional experience without a Bachelor's Degree.

Experience updating and/or using aircraft wiring diagrams and schematics.

Experience modifying and/or using aircraft harness engineering.

Experience working with engineering change documentation.

Desired skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

F-16 aircraft engineering and electrical maintenance experience.

Electrical engineering experience on commercial or military aircraft.

Experience generating engineering change documentation (i.e. ECN, ECO, etc.).

Experience using military aircraft organizational maintenance manuals (i.e. Wiring Data, Fault Isolation, General System).

Working knowledge of aircraft System/Sub-Systems (MIDAS).

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical diagrams and military/vendor specifications.

CATIA V5 experience or equivalent design software.

Attention to detail with good organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as a team, be a self-starter and have initiative.

Experience working on several Projects simultaneously, within budget and schedule.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
