Red Hat LINUX Administrator

Outstanding opportunity for a Red Hat LINUX Administrator to assist our client in creating and deploying embedded Linux devices across several major projects.

Position requires 8+ years of demonstrated System Administration skills with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Understand Disk partitioning, installing OS, configuring Linux, networking and troubleshooting complex issues is a must. Essential skills include: 3+ Years of system monitoring in Zabbix; Open Manage Enterprise; 3+ years scripting experience with Ansible; and, 3+ years Linux Server Build experience. Strong familiarity with the following software: RedHat Enterprise Linux 7,8; RedHat Clustering; Redhat Satellite (managing satellite server would be nice); Kickstart; vCenter/VMWare – advance user knowledge (not just starting VMs); Firewalls; SELinux ; Network – (Advance Server Network Concepts required). Hardware familiarity includes Dell & iDRAC. Programming skills needed include Ansible, Ansible Tower, or Automation Platform, experience creating writing playbooks, roles. (not just running them); Shell scripting (Ksh, Bash, YAML, JSON). Beneficial to know: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Edge; F5; Packer/Teraform; Azure; Git; Centrify/LDAP; Ubuntu (EdgeFlow); Podman, Docker, container concepts. Also nice to have Red Hat MRG Messaging / Apache Qpid AMQP Brokers. Strong communication skills both written and verbal, be able to perform project functions and articulate to stakeholders is a must.
