Apex Systems is looking to hire a Process Technician to work on-site with a major medical devices company in Maple Grove, MN!

About this role:
Assist Process Development engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. This level position requires an extensive knowledge base and a high degree of independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
2. Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
3. Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
4. Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
5. Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
6. Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
7. Act as a resource to other employees.
8. Communicate project status to project teams.
9. Execute assigned tasks for project deliverables.
10. Develop solutions and contribute to initial design, testing, and process concepts for a new pilot high pressure pump assembly line
11. Contribute ideas which inform process and equipment strategy
12. Construct prototype products and/or detailed test methods from concepts.
13. Coordinate procuring and qualification of new or modified manufacturing process equipment.
14. Use developed networks in assisting engineering teams in obtaining necessary materials, services, and test data.
15. Prepare technical data and information for presentation to the technical team

Required qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Medical devices experience
- Mechanical drawing experience and/or AutoCAD software experience
- Motivated, can work independently, creative, and detail oriented individual
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with high pressure pump, fluid connections, pump assembled products, keeping the line maintained
- New product development experience
- Method/Measurement development
- Data analysis experience (Minitab)
