Integration Architect (Kafka, Terraform)

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Integration Architects and Engineers to join a remote team for one of our Financial Services clients. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using modern tools and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Terraform, and other relevant platforms. As an Integration Architect and Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing integration strategies that enable seamless data flow and communication across various systems within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solutions Architecture and Design:

• Develop and maintain integration architecture blueprints and design documents.

• Design scalable and robust integration solutions using Apache Kafka, Terraform, and other relevant tools.

• Ensure integration solutions align with the overall IT architecture and business objectives.

• Implementation and Development:

• Lead the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Develop integration code and configurations using best practices and coding standards.

• Create and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation and management.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integration solutions meet business needs and requirements.

• Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the health and performance of integration solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues in a timely manner.

• Continuously improve integration processes and solutions through regular reviews and updates.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and operational procedures.

• Report on the status of integration projects and initiatives to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

• Master's degree preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in integration architecture and design.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Kafka clusters.

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (
