Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade mobile applications using Android (Native) and React Native. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining mobile architecture, driving technical strategy, ensuring performance, and guiding engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Define, design, and implement end-to-end mobile architecture for Android and React Native applications.
- Establish mobile development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines across teams.
- Evaluate and recommend architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Redux, Clean Architecture).
- Develop reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators to speed up product development.
- Ensure the architecture supports scalability, modularity, security, and high performance.
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor development teams, providing guidance on mobile technologies and architecture decisions.
- Review and validate solution designs, technical specifications, and code quality.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX, backend teams, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Drive complex technical discussions and resolve architecture challenges.
Development & Implementation
- Hands-on development experience in Android (Kotlin/Java) and React Native.
- Oversee integration with backend services, APIs, authentication frameworks, and third-party SDKs.
- Optimize mobile apps for performance, reliability, battery usage, and offline capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with Google Play, App Store, and enterprise security standards.
Innovation & Strategy
- Assess emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation in mobile architecture.
- Build POCs to validate solutions and introduce modern engineering practices.
- Lead cloud integration strategies (Firebase, AWS, Azure Mobile Services, etc.).
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical Skills
- 14+ years of experience in mobile development, including:
- Android (Kotlin/Java) deep platform-level understanding
- React Native cross-platform architecture & development
Strong expertise in:
- RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- State management in React Native (Redux, MobX, Context)
- Android Jetpack components
- Native module development for React Native
- CI/CD for mobile apps (Fastlane, Bitrise, Jenkins, App Center)
- Mobile security best practices (OWASP Mobile Top 10)
Experience in:
- App performance tuning
- Analytics & crash reporting tools (Firebase, AppCenter, Crashlytics)
- Unit testing & automation frameworks
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to lead distributed teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
