About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Verification Engineer with expertise in hardware verification and emulation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and waveform debugging, as well as proficiency in writing RTL and testbenches for emulation platforms such as Cadence Palladium. This role is critical in ensuring the functional correctness of complex SoC designs before silicon tape-out.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Verification Engineer with expertise in hardware verification and emulation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and waveform debugging, as well as proficiency in writing RTL and testbenches for emulation platforms such as Cadence Palladium. This role is critical in ensuring the functional correctness of complex SoC designs before silicon tape-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RTL code and testbenches for hardware emulation.
- Perform pre-silicon verification using industry-standard methodologies (UVM).
- Debug waveforms and analyze simulation/emulation results to identify and resolve design issues.
- Collaborate with design and architecture teams to ensure verification coverage and quality.
- Optimize testbench performance for emulation platforms (Cadence Palladium).
- Contribute to real number modeling (RNM) for mixed-signal verification (nice to have).
- Document verification plans, strategies, and results.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Palladium or similar emulation platforms.
- Solid understanding of RTL design and testbench development.
- Familiarity with waveform debugging tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of mixed-signal verification methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or TCL) for automation.
- Pre-silicon verification experience (preferred).
- Real number modeling experience (preferred).
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
