We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology in the engineering industry, leading a team of skilled engineers in the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and models. The role will involve using advanced computational techniques to solve complex engineering problems and improve our products and services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, with proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex engineering problems.
2. Collaborate closely with other teams to understand their needs and develop appropriate machine learning solutions.
3. Utilize deep learning and computer vision techniques to improve and optimize our products and services.
4. Manage the entire machine learning pipeline, from data collection and preprocessing to model development and deployment.
5. Use cloud computing platforms such as AWS, S3, and Sagemaker to build and deploy machine learning models.
6. Use tools such as VTK/ITK, MLFlow, Neptune, and Git to manage and track the progress of machine learning projects.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and deep learning, and incorporate them into our products and services.
8. Train and mentor junior machine learning engineers, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications:
1. A PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
4. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, S3, and Sagemaker.
5. Experience with tools such as VTK/ITK, MLFlow, Neptune, and Git.
6. Strong knowledge of Bayesian algorithms and other machine learning techniques.
7. Experience with GPU programming and optimization.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
9. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of engineers and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
11. A deep passion for machine learning and a drive to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
