Description
Position Overview
Our customer is building a new AI team to advance their strategic initiative of integrating AI capabilities into core systems and services. As a Junior AI Developer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying AI agents, chatbots, and automation solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem and other enterprise platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experiences for faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities
AI Development & Integration
Build and customize AI agents and chatbots using Copilot Studio and related tools.
Integrate AI solutions into enterprise platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Workday, and document storage systems (OneDrive, Box).
Implement REST API connections for external endpoints when required.
Automation & Workflow
Utilize Power Automate and PowerShell for low-code automation and deployment.
Support iterative development for new AI use cases and enhancements.
Collaboration & Documentation
Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
Document development processes and maintain project tracking in JIRA.
Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies for collaborative delivery.
Core Technical Skills
Programming Languages:
Proficiency in Python (primary for AI/ML)
Familiarity with Java and C++
Data Handling:
SQL proficiency
Ability to clean, preprocess, and visualize data
Model Development:
Basic understanding of training, validating, and deploying ML models
Knowledge of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
Version Control & Collaboration:
Experience with Git/GitHub
Success in 6 Months
Deliver functional AI agents integrated into enterprise workflows.
Support production deployment of AI solutions currently in development.
Contribute to building a scalable AI framework for future use cases.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
